Carbon Copy, My Superhero Serial, Is On Kindle Vella

The first five episodes of my new superhero serial Carbon Copy are available on Kindle Vella, Amazon’s new serial fiction platform. An "episode" is Vella-speak for "chapter." I plan to publish at least one new episode per week until the story is complete.

You can read Carbon Copy on Vella HERE. The first three episodes are free to read. After that, you need Amazon tokens to continue reading. Amazon is giving everyone new to Vella 200 free tokens, which are more than enough for you to read all of Carbon Copy’s existing five episodes, plus some additional future episodes.

Here is a description of Carbon Copy:

John Carbon, unemployed and overwhelmed, has plenty of reasons to leave his old life behind. So stumbling into a world where costumed superheroes and supervillains are real is at first a welcome development. But becoming a superhero is not as easy as John thought it would be, and his survival depends on him learning on the literal fly.

A few words of explanation about Kindle Vella.

Kindle Vella was launched by Amazon a few months ago as a platform for serial fiction—that is, fiction that’s not published all at once, but in bite-sized chunks. The idea is to appeal to folks who don’t have time to sit and read an entire book, but who do have a few minutes here and there to read episodic fiction on their phones and other devices.

Again, you can read Carbon Copy on Vella HERE.
